Aberrant Learning is a contemporary company established by Dr Desley Lodwick and Jim Ilievski (2020) in response to an increasingly complex social landscape where many of our cultural norms are closely and careful scrutinised and have been found wanting.
Research indicates unambiguously that most leadership programs fail. Too often, and despite good intentions, they are designed with content as the main feature rather than critical thinking and the flexibility to meet emerging needs. Instead, our programs bring wisdom and courage to life. Aligned to learning amidst complexity, they are geared to multiple perspectives, the assimilation of complex concepts, and address real-work problems and opportunities in ways that sustain progress over time.

They understand what is happening and have immediate ideas, find it easy to compose because they have many tools and resources in mind, can deal with unexpected situations, and can change their repertoire and approach in the last minute.

As a catalyst for leadership development and working with some of Australia’s eminent musicians, the AMPLIFY Your Voice one-day program places participants in an immersive experience that re-creates the complex, emergent conditions that leaders face. In an unfamiliar environment participants face theirassumptions and forces that have been shaping their leadership. Gaining new insight, they develop greater capacity for leading, collaborating, and being present, clear and confident in how they communicate to others.

Somatic Sandbox

Facilitated by Caroline Quaife (https://coach.quaifeassociates.com) from Stafford in England, the Somatic Sandbox provides a space for coaches who know their stuff, are passionate about holding the space for challenging topics and yet also looking for more growth for themselves and their clients as well as growing their business.
Involving practical approaches that help people do the deep work needed to face hard issues, it is a place to play where you can get out of your head and create more positive options for the future.
